Xen Project Developer Summit has ended

Arianna Avanzini

Arianna is a student from the Computer Engineering Master's Degree of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy). In her bachelor thesis, she has had the opportunity to collaborate with Paolo Valente on his BFQ storage I/O scheduler. She is currently developing her master thesis in collaboration with Evidence Srl; during the related internship, she had the chance to work on their real-time operating system ERIKA Enterprise. Following a small contribution to Xen, currently undergoing review, she has been accepted as intern for GNOME's Outreach Program for Women. As part of this she is working with the Xen Project, mentored by Konrad Rseszutek Wilk, on Xen's paravirtualized block I/O driver for Linux to port it to the new multi-queue block layer API. Her speaking experience outside University is almost non-existent: she only presented her thesis work to Evidence Srl engineers.
