Xen recently supports ARMv7 and ARMv8 platforms, such as the Arndale Board, Midway, Cubieboard, X-Gene, and others.

With the new Xen architecture for ARM, porting your OS as a guest is painless and straight forward process. It will allow you to partition your ARM hardware and run virtual ARM server instances which brings you
numerous benefits, including migration, isolation, hardware independence, and more.

In this session we will focus on the requirements and necessary actions for porting an OS to run under Xen on ARM. We will also investigate how Xen provides you debugging features to help you in the porting effort.

Finally, we will share some of our experiences porting FreeBSD to run as Xen ARM guest.
