University of Modena and Reggio Emilia
Modena, Italy
Arianna is a student from the Computer Engineering Master's Degree of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy). In her bachelor thesis, she has had the opportunity to collaborate with Paolo Valente on his BFQ storage I/O scheduler. She is currently developing her master thesis in collaboration with Evidence Srl; during the related internship, she had the chance to work on their real-time operating system ERIKA Enterprise. Following a small contribution to Xen, she has been accepted to GNOME's Outreach Program for Women, in which she worked with Xen Project mentor Konrad Wilk. Her speaking experience outside University is almost non-existent: she only presented her thesis work to Evidence Srl engineers and took part in the OPW-related panel at the Xen Project Developer Summit.
